Amanda is committed to being kind to our Mother Earth.
Each piece of jewelry is made by hand in Northern California by Amanda and her small team using minimal waste practices.
Recycled Metals
We are proud to source from companies certified by SCS Global Services for 100% recycled content in their metals. Amanda has also made it part of her design process to either recycle, or melt down and reuse all metal waste from previous designs into new creations whether it be castings or fabricated pieces.
Ethically Sourced Diamonds
All diamonds used in Amanda Hunt designs are either recycled or conflict-free. Our conflict-free diamonds are sourced exclusively from Canada for their high quality and the transparency of their origins. Each Canadian mined diamond arrives to me with details of its journey from mine to market.
No Plating
Plating involves the use of cyanide or other toxic chemicals. Although these can be neutralized, in practice, electroplating can still be an environmentally unfriendly industrial process with potentially negative impact. Our metals are solid through and through. By embracing the natural metals without plating, there is no risk of “polishing away” or “wearing away” a coating.
Eco Packaging
All designs are shipped in a recyclable box made of 95% post-consumer waste that has been diverted from landfills and packed with recyclable packing filler. Each box is sealed with recycle compatible tape.
